Football Maniac

What does HR and girlfriend/wives have in common? We believe football can sometimes be a nightmare. Now that the soccer fever has hit the town.. and i mean HIT really hard, what can we expect?? And what can we do about it? Let's see!!

1) People turning up to work with puffy and panda looking eyes. Or worst. They prob dont exist for that month.
Solution: Unless you get admitted to hospital or is on maternity leave, MCs wont work on you. You can still try though!!! And bring toothpicks to stretch your eyes. :D

2) HR breathing down your neck all and spend 1/2 their time looking at your clock-in schedules and questioning why you are late for work.
Solution: Tell them to get a life. Or watch some football. And of course, it comes with a price on your paycheck or promotion.

3) Packed mamak / stucked in the jam or find it hard to look for a parking .
Solution: Go early and not in between games or just stay home. Better still, catch a movie, shop - go somewhere that has no plasma TVs smacked in ur face.

4) Bfs and husband (some la) are too engrossed in the game to spend some quality time with you gals.
Solution: Celebrate cos its our time to enjoy some time with friends and trust me, they will definitely call to check on you. If not, consider what a bastard they are and seek revenge when the game ends. Muahahaha.

5) What's football without the bottle of overpriced beer? Or without the ever fattening chips? Or the ever-sweet teh ais?
Solution: Drink/eat and suffer the consequences later. What's a bit of a beer belly or additional pounds added up to that plus some doses of diabetes? :P

And to all the attached-turned-single for a month, it's time for some footie celebration. Why not right? :-P
